We came across this young lioness and her pride as they were strategically placed along a small inlet, preparing their trap. As a lone impala wandered a little too closely, a cub, not yet honed by experience, gave the pride away too soon. A massive chase followed but the impala escaped, nonetheless. Her gaze here seems to suggest that I may be to blame and could replace the impala on the menu.
