Grackle's Show Of Dominance
Many grackles may flock together but with female grackles watching just across the river only the dominant male will be the successor of the day "and that would be the guy on the right", I have seen another male actually accept a challenge before, it rarely happens but when they do it's a heck of a fight, perhaps I will catch an actual fight on camera someday, this was my favorite photo for 2017.
