The Ice's Blues
The blue color you see is due to the compression of the ice through the years. The blues come when you think the ice is melting, global warming is a sad reality and these magnificent features of the Patagonian landscape are vanishing one drop at a time. Will future generations see a glacier in all its glory? This picture shows a glimpse of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field (South border), the world's second largest contiguous extra-polar ice field. Luckily, it's away from pollution sources.
