Towards the end of my day discovering New York City I came upon St Patricks Cathedral by accident. It wasn't on my list of must see places, but as soon as my eyes landed on it, I knew I must go inside. Once inside I felt a sense of calm. The hustle and bustle of the city was non existent and it was quiet. The atmosphere was like taking a first breath after being under water.
