    Reported by:

On a weekend away in the beautiful medieval town of Ruthin in North Wales, we stayed at Ruthin Castle Hotel which is home to several peacocks & peahens. Being April, it's bang in the middle of the males time to attract a mate with their calls and huge feathery tailed displays in what's known as a Lek. Scrapping with other males for dominance is inevitable though! Fortunate timing and a high shutter speed on my Nikon D3300 got me this shot.
