It's a well known spot, and a classic view - still I am glad I made the effort to capture it. Sometimes I think we photographers get a little spoiled, passing up "the easy ones" to find something more unique. It's a worthy pursuit no doubt, but sometimes you need to stop and smell the roses (or in this case pine needles) in those classic locations.
