Sustainable Gardening, Haiti
In March, I went down to Haiti to document the distribution of drip irrigation kits for families growing their own vegetable gardens. These kits require only a fraction of the water used in conventional gardens, which benefits people in areas where water is scarce, expensive, or must to be carried long distances. These kits can provide enough produce to sustain a large family, and even extra to sell at market.
