This is the view from our guest house at Hanle in Ladakh Region. After a tedious drive from Pangong Tso, our energy levels boosted up on seeing this beautiful view from our homestay at Hanle. This village is situated at an altitude of 14,764 ft. There is no gas station here and electricity is available just for 4 hours from 8pm to 11pm. May be that is the reason there are big windows to let in ample light during the day. And hanle is also home for highest Indian Astronomical Observatory.
