Los Angels After Clearing Winter Storm
Even in the worst smog, the downtown LA skyline is visible from the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area. However with the clarity that comes after a winter storm passes through very rapidly, the sight is one to behold.
One day during the exceptionally wet winter of January 2017, I started a timelapse of this composition right before a storm passed through, dropping enough rain to briefly obscure the view. This is one of the final frames of that timelapse, only minutes after the storm passed.
