While shooting for some landscapes we stumbled on this Dokra artisan, who was finishing his work. The Dokra art form is slowly becoming obsolete, as most of the artisans are opting for farm work and other means of income. The village of Dariyapur is a small hamlet of West Bengal, where this lost sculpture art is still carried on by the artisans. The artisans struggle to survive and sit on streets of village in absence of workshop.
