Two men get the news the old-fashioned way in an inner street in Shillong, Meghalaya, India. I saw these men reading newspapers in the early morning sunlight on the first day of our trip to Shillong last winter. I was in a hurry on that day, but I came back on the second day for the photo. They were there again and I got my shot. I like the old world-feel of the act of reading the newspaper and felt black & white would be suitable for it.
