After a jaunt up Gunsight Pass, in Glacier National Park, there was a calm before a massive snow blizzard. I slept with my water bladder in my sleeping bag for fear of my water freezing during the night. I could've swore my tent poles had snapped on numerous occasions throughout the night based on how fierce the wind and snow was.
