Old Michigan theatre
Built in the 1930's, The Michigan theatre is the largest in downtown Jackson, MI. Shutting down in 1978, and reopened in 1993 it is still a beacon of hope among those of who aspire to the be great in the ways of the musical, acting, and filming arts. Architecturally stunning both inside and out with an exotic Spanish style, lavish interior plaster work, and carved walnut furniture that effortlessly brings an aesthetically pleasing sensation with the oil paintings that grip its walls.
