    This photo was taken in a parking lot at the Braidwood Dunes State Park in Illinois. I had hiked through the sand prairie trying to take photos of a variety of species, including snakes, lizards, and butterflies. It was a wash probably because of the drought and extreme heat from that year. When I got back to the parking lot, there was a small area of moisture, which drew butterflies. I took this photo, and it was the best shot I could get with a Nikon Coolpix mini.
