Altiplano Vistas
High up on the Altiplano of Chile, the landscape is otherworldly. Small bodies of water like this one at Piedras Rojas come out of nowhere in one of the driest places on Earth. You would think that being in this desert means intense heat, but at this altitude it is very cold and the wind is fierce. All of these factors make you feel like explorers of a new planet.
