I had a great couple of scuba dives in York, Maine. While on the surface, New England divers tend to concentrate on how to get out safely (usually without any dignity) and without much sightseeing along the way. In an unusual break from this post-underwater photography myopia, I looked around. Nubble is one of the most photographed lighthouses in New England, yet I had never seen this perspective before. It was exhilarating to see something this familiar as something new for the first time.
