    I took this picture in the ancient district of Gion, Kyoto, in Japan. This is the only place in the world where you can still see real Geisha and Maiko entering tea houses to entertain their guests. As they are extremely elusive, I think this picture captures well the atmosphere of mystery and wonder that surrounds their lives and the ancient Japanese traditions.
