The beautiful Bara Imambara stands lit up against the night sky in Lucknow, its beautiful facade and alcoves a stark contrast to the harsh utilitarian glare of street lights and traffic. When I was making this image I saw the man riding his rickshaw and waited until he rode into the pool of light, spotlit, his reality juxtaposed against the glorious architecture of a bygone era.
