    I took this while visiting a cattle ranch in New Mexico. The sun was high and I knew I wouldn't have very generous lighting, so I looked for shots that were interesting in other ways. The ranch hands were rounding up calves for branding and kicking up a lot of dust, so I decided to try and shoot scenes of the dust to capture the action of the whole thing. Going through the images later, some just worked better in black and white, like this one.
