    This is the bloom from a Peruvian torch cactus. The photo was taken after midnight. I used an LED pocket flashlight to do the light painting, and did a multi-exposure to allow different ways of lighting (intensity and duration) for different parts of the flower. The true color of petals is white with some light pink, but depending on the intensity and duration of the light painting, the petals would take on differing hues.
