Bull Elk Amongst the Autumn Leaves
I had spent all day, up before the sun, driving around Grand Teton National Park in search of elk to photograph. After the miles of driving and hours of searching, I returned home with only a few frames I was happy with. Upon reaching my house, I was surprised and delighted to find a small herd standing amongst vibrant fall foliage, just as the sun was beginning to set. While it's fun to explore afar, sometimes staying close to home is all it takes.
