A teenager and her little sister playing with hennè tatoo waiting for the day they will be adorned for the wedding. In the most Muslim countries henna is considered very auspicious for religious occasions and for weddings. Henna has existed from centuries and was usually drawn on the palms and feet. According to my grandmother, before the modern era henna was prepared at home by grinding henna leaves in a paste with water and oil.
