    Reported by:

Every morning at sunrise this man walks the beach with his dogs and his bag "please re-cycle me" to collect trash that has been washed up. This trash is thrown into the sea by the calamari trawlers that fish night and day about 1km from the shore. He collects old hooks and lines and in this way protects some of the marine life. If we all did a small act such as this every day, we could go a long way towards sustaining our natural environment.

Without your caption, this photo would have just been a pretty picture of a man walking with dogs. Your beautiful photo that is made even more meaningful by the daily action of this lone man. Thank you for sharing this story with us. You are absolutely correct, if we followed this man's lead, "we could go a long way towards sustaining our natural environment." Well done.
