    Reported by:

During the sardines run, millions of sardines migrate off the coast of South Africa, attracting many predators, among them many seabirds. Sardins use to swim close to the surface, and then gather in a sudden vertically, diving and moving to avoid birds attacks. This strange vertical and then hectic behavior predates the shape of the famous bait ball.
