    Besakih Temple has been known as Bali's 'Mother Temple' for over 1000 years and is perched 1000 metres high on the southwestern slopes of Mount Agung. Here Balinese often come to offer up prayer and take blessing from the temple priests or "Pemangku" who reside there.

    I love the caption info you have submitted here on Your Shot, Michael. It really adds a nice deeper storytelling element to an already well composed image. I love the placement of each of the subjects in this photograph. This is something that just happens in front of your camera and you need to be ready. If you told the people where toe stand in this image it would not have the same effect as documenting them. Great work.
