I had the honor of photographing sweet Emma, whose mother died a few months ago of ALS. Emma also has a form of rare childhood MLS, AND is battling cancer. In the midst of shooting her portrait, I caught this shot of her amazing grandmother helping her get into her second of five princess dresses Emma wanted to wear for this session. A reminder that life is tiny and resolve and grace are limitless.
