Hanami refers to the Japanese tradition of gathering together to enjoy the Spring days with sakura. Since this custom started, many ways to do the hanami appeared, from the silent contemplation to lively picnics with music and drinks. A recent way is to use cameras to register the flowers or take selfies and share them in social networks. As this new way of enjoying the sakura reflects our current cultural stage, we wonder how the hanami will be like in future times. Rikugien, Tokyo, Japan.
