Edit Photo Details Building for the future.   #pond #swan
This swan had decided, somewhat bizarrely, to construct a nest next to a public footpath using material, such as cut grass, to do so. It was quite aggressive and was hissing and pecking at anyone who came too near to it. The swan in the next picture was much more sensible building it's nest on an island well away from human and animal contact. Eventually it left and did not return and I assume it was taking it's domestic urges to another location.
