I have always loved cloudy days for photography, whether it's full-blown overcast or just a few little wisps, and everything in between. I remember waking up in the morning, getting aboard the boat to leave Antarctica, and the intense sadness that overtook me as I waved goodbye to Palmer Station. But I also remember the amazing farewell that I received from the continent, the scenes of broken clouds. I promise that there are great and beautiful things to be found even when the sun is hiding.
