I've been wanting to get to this place that is called Laguna de los Tres, in El Chaltén for a long time. Finally made it to Patagonia again! It's a 10 km trek, but the last kilometer is a 400 meter altitude ascent. During this time of the year it's really complicated, as the path is fully frozen, and getting there in the dark before the sunrise makes it more difficult. But this was my dream shot from the Fitz Roy, winter time, all covered in snow, with a clear sky... totally worth it.
