Edit Photo Details Abandoned Eggs to be Banded and Released   #ducks #eggs #hatching #rescue #sustainability
The Egg Rescue in Durham, CA is an amazing place. I put 60 Wood Duck Eggs in to Egg Cartons and placed them in the Incubator. I was amazed at the organization and results. These babies are 1 day hatched and keeping warm under heat lamps. From there they will stay with their own breed and learn to be a Mallard, Pintail, Honker or Wood Duck. Approximately 2800 ducks are banded and released.
