Theyyam is a sacred and vibrant ritual artform of malabar (North Kerala). It commences with various rituals and it is believed that the deity of the particular shrine ,where it is performed, will be manifested in the performer i.e., the divine energy will be reflected in the performance of the artiste. Theyyam is regarded as a form of worship though it has marked its name amongst the most celebrated art forms. Blog : http://thepicturepamphlet.blogspot.in/2017/05/the-human-gods.html
