Venice, the beautiful city of love, is in trouble. Sea levels have risen to dangerous levels causing the famous canals to flood and now another threat is looming. Scientists are discovering that Venice is also sinking. Italy, my homeland, holds a very special place in my heart and I pray that all is being done to preserve and protect this charming, precious gem.
