Old cars that act as collective taxis line up in Paseo del Prado to pick up passengers. This trip was my first time in Havana, a long postponed visit. Cuba had always been mentioned in Peru, but mostly because of its politics. During this trip, I got to know the richness of its life and culture, the beauty of its architecture, and, most importantly, the warmth and grace of its people. That made the trip very special for me.
