    Reported by:

On the evening of May 27th just after full dark, the leading edge of a strong geomagnetic storm pulsed near due west and high overhead in western South Dakota. This is what it looked like over the Creighton Community Building in Eastern Pennington County, South Dakota (USA). It was one of the most unique displays I have ever seen in the night sky in person.
