Spring lilies for mom
While this may not be exactly a tradition around the world - there is a form of it celebrated in every family. These lily-of-the-valley were picked in remembrance of my mom. She had told me they were her favorite flower in hospice care.
Families around the world do celebrate the remembrance of family members with flowers, some on graves, some with flotillas festooned with flowers and candles.
I simply picked a bouquet to remember my mom.
