Exploring Viedma Glacier
I had never worn crampons before so I was a little nervous about walking on the ice and some spots were quite slick. But it was well worth the trek. With frozen blue waves of ice, glimmering glass-like crevasses; the glacier was embraced by water, mountains, and lenticular clouds. Rivers of melt ran through certain areas, and the glacier calved as we were leaving, reminders of how important it is to protect these lands and make efforts towards shifting climate change
