Timing is Everything
High in Denali Park visitors can see the Dall sheep that feed on plants growing from rocky cliffs. The mountain side provides them protection from the predators of the park which includes bears, wolves, coyotes, and lynx. Most of the totally white beauties are seen in two different groups: males/ rams and female, ewes/ lambs. Being very agile on their feet, the sheep maneuver their footing on the smallest of cliffs. Timing is everything when sheep jump to a new spot.
