Even if there were more motobikes in the North west Vietnam, going by foot still was the most popular transportation of the H'mong women, the round trip from their village to the market might take 20 kms, but always somewhere on the road, there would be a young mother with her children, one in hand and another on the back, solemnly walked hour by hour.
