Coconut offerings at the Giant fit,Sabarimala Temple in Kerala in a day. Devotees bring coconuts filled with ghee(clarified butter) on their heads, tied up in irumudi the essential travel kit of the devotee to the temple, after following 41 day austerities ritual and offer them in the temple. This is one of the two pits where coconuts are offered. You can imagine the number of devotees coming over here by the coconuts in here. This was my first visit to this temple and the numbers surprised me.
