An Arctic tern bombards a visitor to the wildife haven of Inner Farne where visitors and nature co-exist but not always harmoniously. People are allowed to visit between restircted hours and only on the boardwalks but the terns still attack them as they pass by. This level of disturbance is contentious but does allow people to get close to nature, funds a nature reserve of international importance and doesn't appear to impact on the populations and probably helps keep the birds alert and fit.
