Bamboo Basket weaving
A Small village in northeast Assam, India know as Cholapothar Shyam Gaon. This village consists of people of the Buddhist community. They were still following their age-old tradition with pride for last 9 decades.
This photo was taken when my uncle expired last year. These respected old people were weaving the bamboo basket for donating goods, with the belief that in next birth my uncle doesn't have to suffer any scarcity.
