The Willet is bird in the Sandpiper family. It's habitats include marsh areas, wet meadows and beaches to name a few. They eat things like insects, crustaceans, marine worms. They lay 4, rarely 5 grayish to olive-buff, blotched with brown eggs. the eggs are cared for by both the male and female. The young are led out of their nest by the female after only one day and led down to gather any food they eat by themselves. They nest in colonies along the East Coast
