The UAE is the 3rd country I have lived in. In each country I have lived, I have found Christian brothers and sisters with shared beliefs and a faith that has made us family, no matter our different nationalities or backgrounds. Within a shared faith, there is a binding of hearts that has always astounded me. Raising hands in worship is a sign of surrender and there is no doubt to me, that as we surrender our hearts, we open them more freely to welcome others as more than friends, as family.
