On a road trip through southwest Colorado on Route 160. U.S. Route 160 enters Colorado near the Four Corners Monument. It goes northeast and intersects U.S. Route 491, then turns north to enter Cortez with U.S. 491. East of Cortez, a road leads south from U.S. 160 to Mesa Verde National Park. Southwest Colorado is made up of mountains, mesas, desert canyons, and desert lands.
