It amazes me how colour can made the same subject look different. The purple iris is bold, gold and purple with a sharp edge where these two-toned purple/blue and white are nothing but softness flowing in all directions. I came upon a grouping of the flowers on the way to the store and they are just beautiful. I like this one because it also showed the bud and the bloom in detail.
