    Montreal. John Lennon and Yoko Ono staged their famous "Bed-In for Peace" in room 1742 of the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in 1969. Place Ville Marie inaugurated in 1962 and built over several sections of mainline train tracks became a famous icon for the city for more than 50 years. Britain's total gold reserves were hidden 3 floors underground the Sunlife Building during WW2. And Marie-Reine-du-Monde Cathedral, consecrated in 1894, was originaly designed to imitate St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.
