I was truly amazed when I saw these two while visiting Lowry Park Zoo. The mother orangutan was using this piece of cardboard that was inside the enclosure, seemingly to either shield herself from the water or possibly even cover herself while she was breastfeeding the baby on her shoulder. Either way she seemed to be covering her face the majority of the time. It was fascinating!
