Xitang, located an hour-drive away from the modern mega city Shanghai, is an ancient town built more than a thousand years ago. The houses are well preserved but it's heavily commercialized for tourism now. Most people probably know of this place from Mission Impossible III where Tom Cruise ran down this exact corridor.
