    Peaceful landscape beneath a battlefield of 1525. The German Peasants' War was Europe's largest and most widespread popular uprising prior to the French Revolution of 1789. The Panoramamuseum of Frankenhausen was initiated by the German Democratic Republic, but the artist Werner Tuebke created a 360° oil painting describing that in wars all parties are loosers.
